A fast-growing insurance company based in Coventry has moved into new headquarters within the city to accommodate future expansion.
Inspire Insurance Services, a leading independent commercial insurance broker, has doubled the size of its premises to 2,000 sq ft by relocating to Westwood Business Park in Canley.
The move to larger offices signals the company’s ambitious plans for further growth into new markets with its workforce being strengthened to meet the forecasted increase in business.
Inspire Insurance Services provides a wide range of products and risk management services to organisations and individuals throughout the UK.
The company was founded by managing director Leigh Mackey in 2010 who built the core business on the manufacturing sector after identifying a gap in the market.
It has since diversified into more sectors and product ranges, which included launching a private client division this year, and was recently recognised with the top accolade of Commercial Lines Broker of the Year at the West Midlands Insurance Institutes Awards.
Leigh said: “With a hunger to succeed and to set ourselves apart in the industry, we have achieved 100 per cent growth year-on-year based on our innovative and professional approach.
“In the last year alone, we have made huge strides which have been recognised within the insurance industry at a regional and national level and we have exciting plans to take the company even further forward in the next few years.”
This year the company reached the final of the British Insurance Awards and UK Broker Awards. Leigh was named Emerging Professional of the Year at the Coventry Telegraph Business Awards and scooped both the Young Professional and Professional of the Year titles at the Coventry and Warwickshire First First-Pro Awards.
Leigh continued: “This move to significantly larger premises will enable us to expand our business and our team of staff, who have been fundamental to our success. We are now looking for more experienced industry professionals as well as newcomers to insurance to join us.
“Our first apprentice was a finalist in the Young Broker of the Year at the UK Broker Awards and has recently completed his professional qualifications. We now want to take on our next apprentice and provide someone else with the training and opportunity to carve out a career with us.”
As part of the move, Inspire Insurance Services is forming strategic alliances with other local companies in order to support one another.
