DTZ acquires Cardiff city centre space for D&B

The Cardiff office of real estate adviser, DTZ has acquired city centre office space on behalf of business intelligence provider, Dun & Bradstreet (D&B).

D&B has taken 7,090 sq ft of office space on the first floor of Longcross Court in Cardiff. The property is situated within a prominent position at the junction of City Road and Newport Road, a popular and established office location.

D&B recently consolidated a number of its offices and the move to Longcross Court means its Welsh operation will now be based in one location.

Alex Easton of DTZ in Cardiff, commented: “DTZ worked closely with D&B to establish their spatial requirements. Following a comprehensive search of the city centre, two buildings were shortlisted but D&B eventually favoured Longcross Court which offered generous car parking and the potential for D&B to expand in the future. Importantly however, we were also able to negotiate a very competitive rental package.”

Chris Terry of Fletcher Morgan, who acted jointly with Lambert Smith Hampton on behalf of the landlord, Picton Property Income Ltd, added: “We are delighted that a world renowned company such as D&B has chosen to locate at Longcross Court. Our client had the confidence to carry out an extensive quality refurbishment of the building and despite the current economic conditions we are in discussions with a number of other prospective tenants keen to acquire high specification office accommodation within Cardiff city centre.”

D&B is the world’s leading source of business information and insight and maintains a database of over 200 million companies globally.
