The Gloucester office of property consultants Alder King has been named Gloucestershire’s Most Active Property Agent for the sixth year in succession by prestigious property publication Estates Gazette. The firm’s John Hawkins was also named as the county’s top dealmaker.
Alder King won the award for completing the highest number of deals in the county over the past year, competing against other local and national property consultants in the region.
Adrian Rowley, partner at Alder King in Gloucester, said: “We are delighted to have won this award again. It’s a testament to the proactive and determined efforts by the whole agency team to deliver deals for our clients and demonstrates yet again our in-depth understanding of the market across the county. We are also very pleased that John has once again won the county’s dealmaker award.
“The commercial property market has been showing definite signs of recovery, with manufacturing and in particular high technology manufacturing having a significant impact on demand for space. We have been involved in some of the most high profile deals across the region, including the 40,000 sq ft pre-let to Lister Petter at Quedgeley West, the letting of 1250 Lansdowne Court at Gloucester Business Park to Lockheed Martin and the first design and build pre-let transaction for five years at Stonehouse Park to Nine Group.”
