Newport training specialist Mountain View Residential and Respite Services (MVRRS) has made two senior appointments to manage the continued growth and expansion of the company.
Justin Hoskins joins the company as Head of Operations and Hailey Burrows as Quality Manager.
MVRRS operates two centres in Newport and Risca, employ 24 trainers, assessors and support staff and is owned and managed by Kim and Christopher Churcher. The company provides training courses for the long term unemployed providing them with the skills they require to find a job, and work based learning courses for employees covering a variety of industry sectors.
Mr Hoskins joins the company from Trust Conservation Volunteers where he was the Development Manager. With over 17 years experience in the training industry, Mr Hoskins will be responsible for the line management of the company’s managers and, establishing and setting procedures for the continued expansion of the company.
Commenting on his new role, Mr Hoskins said, “MVRRS has rapidly grown over the last two years. They have secured contracts with Wales’ two largest training providers and numerous employers and I’m relishing this opportunity to help them build on this solid foundation and work with the directors to drive the business forward.”
Mrs Burrows, an equally experienced training professional also with 17 years experience joins MVRRS as Quality Manager with the responsibility of maintaining and setting the standards for all of the training courses and qualifications provided by the company through their trainers and assessors.
“I’ve previously worked for both public and private sector training providers of various sizes. I have gained a lot of experience and knowledge and, as I am the first dedicated Quality Manager to be employed by MVRRS, my new role provides me with the perfect opportunity to use these.”
