DTZ has been appointed by RBS to sell the freehold of the former Nat West banking premises on Grimshaw Street, Burnley.
The former bank premise is arranged over basement, ground, first and second floors and totals 6,356 sq ft (590 sq m). The building is situated within Burnley town centre and is constructed from local stone and boasts character features such as a slate mansard roof, iron and ornate stonework above the entrance door and over the gable windows.
The property is suitable for a variety of uses subject to obtaining relevant planning permissions.
Daniel Barnes, Office Agent at DTZ, commented: “Buildings of this nature rarely become available and we are sure it will attract a lot of interest from property speculators, developers and owner occupiers. Its situation within the town centre means it will be of interest to occupiers from the office, leisure and retail sectors.”
DTZ has been appointed as sole agents on behalf of RBS, which has set an asking price of £300,000 for the freehold.
