National commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) is celebrating after figures showed the firm scooped almost a third of all office deals in the M42 corridor in the third quarter of the year.
Latest market figures show that LSH transacted 29 per cent by square footage of all deals in the M42 corridor from June to September. In quarter two, LSH led an impressive 42 per cent of all deals, and has transacted more than 21 per cent of the entire office take-up so far this year.
Major deals highlights included a 23,000 sq ft acquisition for a national construction and development client, as well as a 10,000 sq ft disposal which was concluded within four months of receiving the instruction
Alastair McChesney, Agency Director in LSH’s Birmingham office, said that following LSH’s success the firm was on the lookout for further opportunities.
He said, “We have had enormous success on the M42 this year. In fact we have a 100 per cent track record for clients with M42 property. We are very much bucking the trend and are urgently looking for other opportunities. Our success is driven by market knowledge as well as our lack of conflicts, which means we can offer strategic advice without being constrained by allegiances to specific funds or developers.”
He added, “Our market knowledge is giving our clients a competitive edge, so we are keen to hear from owners, landlords or tenants with vacant space to let. Our track record speaks volumes”
