Emma Crawford, one of the West End’s best known office agents, is returning to CBRE.
CBRE has re-appointed Emma to its Central London Division as Executive Director, Head of West End and Midtown Leasing.
Adam Hetherington, Managing Director – Central London, CBRE, said:
“I am pleased to welcome Emma back to CBRE. Emma’s return, in this newly created role, will strengthen our senior leadership team in London and enable us to provide a greater value proposition to our clients. Emma brings with her a wealth of experience and market knowledge and will take overall responsibility to drive the strategic growth of our leasing business in these key markets.”
Charlie Killen, who joined CBRE when the firm bought EA Shaw in November, will retain day to day responsibility for the management of the eight strong Midtown team, based in Covent Garden. The strategic acquisition of EA Shaw was part of CBRE’s continued drive into London residential and desire to increase its presence in the Midtown and South Bank markets, all of which offer significant growth opportunities. Richard Smart will assume day to day responsibility for the ten strong West End
team based in Henrietta House.
Emma Crawford was previously Head of West End Leasing at CBRE and left in January to join Knight Frank as a proprietary partner.
Prime headline rents increased in both the West End core, Covent Garden and Midtown in Q1 2013 to reach £95.00 per sq ft, £63.50 per sq ft and £55.00 per sq ft respectively. The uplift in Midtown brought prime rents in line with the City.
