Property consultants Bruton Knowles have secured two new lettings at the Swan Centre in Rugby.
High Street coffee chain Costa Coffee is expanding its presence in the town by opening a second outlet at the centre.
The company, which operates an existing café at 1 High Street, has taken a
1,355 sq ft unit on a ten-year lease.
The second letting is to The Dress Shop, which has taken 1,104 sq ft at Unit 11, next door to Costa Coffee, on a five-year lease.
The Dress Shop, which specialises in designing and selling wedding dresses, was set up by mother and daughter Dee Oliver and Rosie Oliver-Evans. It is the couple’s first business venture, having both been enrolled on the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy at the Warwickshire College Rugby Centre.
Joint agents Bruton Knowles and Johnson Fellows advised the landlord, the Heart of England Co-operative Society.
David Walton, an associate in the retail agency team at Bruton Knowles in Birmingham, said: “We’re pleased to have been able to secure these lettings at the Swan Centre, which is now more than 50 per cent let, with interest in a number of the other units.
“The Centre is attracting a range of tenants, including the Heart of England Co-operative and The Entertainer to small independent businesses, as demonstrated by these lettings, which add to Rugby’s existing retail offer.”
