Silk & Cashmere has appointed Colliers International’s Birmingham office to spearhead its UK store roll-out.
The Turkey-based retailer, part of the Fabeks Group, has close to 200 sales points in over 25 countries, including Australia, France, Russia and China.
The purveyor of luxury clothing, accessories and home goods, has opened their first UK store in London’s Portobello Road. It has taken a 500 sq ft unit at 77 Portobello Road from Chris Chreagh. Silk & Cashmere agreed a 10 year lease for this property.
Emel Hussein, an associate director in Colliers International’s retail team in Birmingham, is advising the 20-year-old vendor.
She said: “It’s a real coup to have been appointed to act on behalf of this prestigious international brand.”
Silk & Cashmere is seeking to open an initial five stores in London, with a sales floor area of 400 – 800 sq ft. Additional stores are planned in the regions.
