DTZ in Cardiff has let an industrial unit in Abercynon to Onyx Holdings, a specialist in the design, manufacture and sale of electronic components and assemblies.
The company has moved to Cwm Cynon Business Park, Mountain Ash which is an established business location, 10 miles north of Cardiff city centre.
The unit comprises a 5,232 sq ft modern, semi-detached warehouse unit, including office accommodation on the ground and first floors.
The unit will be used by Onyx for the manufacture of ABS brake sensors for commercial trucks and trailers and the manufacture of sub contract assemblies, such as wiring harnesses and electrical equipment assembly.
DTZ acted on behalf of the LPA Receivers, Bryn Williams and Richard Murphy.
Neil Francis in DTZ’s industrial agency team commented: “This was a good quality unit in an established location and suited Onyx’s requirements for modern, accessible premises with a lockable compound for the storage of pallets.”
Onyx relocated from Aberaman Industrial Park near Aberdare.
Tony Hallett of Onyx Holdings commented: “Our previous unit was too large for our current needs following a restructuring programme. The new unit ticks all the right boxes and DTZ helped to make the relocation process easier to manage.”
