A three-day bootcamp aimed at giving aspiring entrepreneurs in the low carbon and environmental goods and services sector practical advice on how to accelerate growth, is taking place at one of Nottingham’s up-and-coming incubators in May.
The fourth annual enviro-entrepreneur bootcamp, organised by Inntropy, takes place on the 15th to 17th May 2013 at the Nottingham CleanTech Centre and brings together a line-up of speakers spanning seasoned entrepreneurs, active investors and expert advisers.
Managing Director of Inntropy, Dr Nick Gostick, comments, “The economy needs to be re-energised by entrepreneurs who are often people who want to take control of their own destiny rather that work for big companies.
“More often than not the challenge with setting up your own business is where do you go with your great idea? This course is designed to teach delegates the basics from setting up a business through to how to grow that business.”
The bootcamps continually attract business owners, recent graduates and post-docs and researchers with a commercial idea.
Dr Gostick explains, “We have seen many entrepreneurs come through the bootcamps over the past four years and we know that the delegates value the combination of expert advice along with the interaction with other entrepreneurs.
“Well over half of the delegates that have been through the bootcamp now run their own businesses.”
The bootcamp is an intense three-day programme and is sponsored by Actons Solicitors, CleanTech Business Limited, EBS Chartered Accountants, Hepworth Brown and V Formation.
