Hugh James’ new volume legal services operation takes lease at Fusion Point

Acting on behalf of developer, Fusion Point Development Limited, a joint venture between RH Ventures Limited (part of the Robert Hitchins Group) and Landmark Cardiff Limited, joint letting agents DTZ and Fletcher Morgan have successfully agreed a letting at one of Cardiff’s prime office developments to law firm Hugh James’ newly launched volume legal services operation, Involegal.

Involegal, advised by Emanuel Jones, has taken 18,830 sq ft of prime, grade A city centre office space at Fusion Point 2 on a 15 year lease.

Located on Dumballs Road in Cardiff, Fusion Point 2 forms part of the greater Callaghan Square area which is established as Cardiff’s prime office location. The building benefits from full height glazing over three floors as well as a two storey atrium above the ground floor reception.

Alex Easton, Associate Director in office agency at DTZ in Cardiff, commented: “Fusion Point 2 is an impressive, well located building and as a result we were seeking to attract a high calibre tenant. Involegal was the ideal fit.”

John James of Fletcher Morgan said: “Fusion Point 2 offers some of the most efficient office floor space available in the city and there is currently only circa 19,000 sq ft remaining available to let in the building.”

Robert Emanuel of Emanuel Jones, added: “Following a thorough search of all the opportunities in the market our client chose Fusion Point 2 which provides high quality accommodation in close proximity to the Central Railway Station.”

Involegal is a leading high quality volume provider of outsourced legal solutions and is owned and operated by Hugh James, one of the UK’s leading law firms and the largest Welsh law firm.

Matthew Tossell, Involegal Chief Executive, said: “We chose Fusion Point for its central location and for the fact that the modern design offers precisely what we require to enable us to deliver the technical, streamlined and highly customised service that our clients demand.  There is also plenty of space to accommodate our workforce as we expand.”
