2025 brings a new Chair and a new Managing Director for Vickery Holman

Mark Pellow is taking on a new role as Chair of the Board at Vickery Holman

After over 14 years as Managing Director at Vickery Holman, Mark Pellow is stepping aside to take on a new role as Chair of the Board.

Mark joined Vickery Holman in 1999, bringing real knowledge and skills as a Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer. He is handing the reins over to Robert Beale, who has over 20 years of experience within Vickery Holman including acting as Head of its General Practice Surveying service.

In his capacity as Managing Director, Mark guided the company safely through the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis and the covid pandemic and into a period of strong growth for the employee-owned firm. In the last five years, the company has expanded in the South West, taking the headcount to over 80 employees and strengthening its position as a leading property consultancy encompassing agency, building surveying, property management, valuation, rating and lease advisory teams.

‘Vickery Holman is in excellent shape to face the challenges ahead.’ commented Mark. ‘We’ve had five years of steady growth and we’re ambitious for that to continue. We’ve been looking at our structure and processes and investing in those, as well as in our people, to make sure that we are providing the best quality of service to our clients. I’m proud of what the whole team is achieving at Vickery Holman and I know that Robert will be an excellent Managing Director. This is a hugely exciting time for the company, and I’m looking forward to supporting Robert and his management team over the next few years in my new role as Chair.’

Mark will be continuing to work full time based primarily from the Exeter office.
