Commercial property agents Siddall Jones have sealed the latest in series of deals in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter and professional quarter.
Structural and civil engineering consultancy SBK Consulting has taken 3,210 sq ft on a five year lease in The Atrium.
This latest letting by Siddall Jones leaves only one space, totalling 1,222 sq ft, remaining in the 14,704 sq ft building.
Ed Siddall-Jones, managing director of Siddall Jones, said: “The Atrium is a very smart looking building at 18-20 Frederick Street in the Jewellery Quarter that has been lovingly restored to provide excellent office facilities.
“It’s stand-out feature is the stunning glass atrium which provides excellent natural light throughout the centre of the building.”
The property has ten secure parking spaces accessed via an electric roller shutter door.
The Atrium is also the ‘Hoodquarters’ of fashion retailer Hoodrich which began as an online business and now has its products available in over 1,000 stores in 24 countries.
Landlord Tom Leeman said: “Since Covid, the market for landlords has been difficult, in fact an uphill struggle.
“During this period Siddall Jones have found some really solid tenants, and they are now established as the go-to-agent in the Jewellery Quarter . Not only do they find tenants, they are a pleasure to deal with.”
This latest letting follows a summer which has seen Siddall Jones let a 4,000 sq ft restaurant and bar premises in a Grade II listed Victorian property at 21 Ludgate Hill.
A new restaurant called Maneki Ramen, operated by the Rule of Tum restaurant group, is set to open in the autumn, creating 20 jobs.
More recently, Siddall Jones brokered the move of law firm Lodders who have taken 6,500 sq ft of the 50,000 sq ft at 1 Newhall Street, refurbished Grade A office space across 11 floors in the heart of the city’s Colmore Business District.
