One of the leading multi-disciplinary commercial real estate firms in the country has successfully facilitated the relocation of an exhibition and events main contractor after it experienced significant growth.

Fisher German has facilitated the relocation of The Total Event Company from Stourport-on-Severn to Indurent Park, Broomhall, in Worcester.

Total Event signed a five-year lease on an 18,674 sq ft unit through the property consultancy.

Fisher German currently manages more than 8,300 units, has responsibility of and provides agency services for industrial and logistics space totalling over 84 million square feet, and currently advises on over 3,500 acres of strategic land.

The firm used its extensive market knowledge to conduct a comprehensive market search to locate a suitable unit for Total Event, securing a premises that would not only support the company’s growth aspirations but also boasts strong environmental credentials.

Additionally, the firm assisted in selling Total Event’s old 4,494 sq ft premises on Sandy Lane Industrial Estate, in Stourport-on-Severn.

Total Event, a family-run business operating for over 20 years, provides a wide range of exhibition services, including main contractor services, exhibition shell schemes, power and lighting, furniture hire, and graphics installation. They also work with exhibitors to create custom-built exhibition stands and manage exhibitions across the UK and Europe.

Tracy Locke, the owner of Total Event, purchased the unit on Sandy Lane Industrial Estate through Fisher German in 2020, just months before the pandemic hit.

When the events industry shut down, she viewed this as an opportunity to invest in new vehicles and stock, ensuring Total Event was in the best possible position to come back stronger.

The company has since secured numerous new clients, hired two new staff members, and reconnected with Fisher German’s Lauren Allcoat to secure a new, larger unit that accommodates further growth and reflects their sustainability values.

Tracy Locke said: “After the pandemic, we were ready for the events industry to re-open and picked up many new events in addition to our long-standing clients. We’ve grown significantly, beating our forecast, and have hired two new staff members.

“We needed a building in a great location that was easier to manage and reflected our sustainability focus. Lauren found us a highly energy-efficient property that will help future-proof our business for years to come, and she also sold our old unit.”

Lauren Allcoat, of Fisher German, added: “It’s fantastic to work with Total Event once again to support their expansion plans.

“Unit 4 Indurent Park, Broomhall, is a large, modern building with strong environmental credentials which will help the business continue to flourish. We were also very pleased to sell the unit in Sandy Lane Industrial Estate on behalf of the company to another local firm.”
