VaynerMedia has appointed Peldon Rose to build its new private office in the UK. The global, full service advertising agency approached the design and build company to create a striking and dynamic workplace in the centre of Clerkenwell as it continues to grow at pace across Europe.
Completed in April 2024, the project was led by Senior Project Designer, Ashton Holmes. Recently featured as a rising star of the architectural and design industry in Mix Interiors’ 30 under 30 Class of 2023, Ashton brings a playful energy and style to a design that features vibrant green hues and eclectic art.
This refurbished workspace, found by Compton as the acting agent, provided a blank Cat A canvas within a building surrounded by heritage.
“One of the key priorities was securing spacious floors to ensure departments remained cohesive, fostering collaboration and bringing the team closer together” – Dan Howard, Head of Occupier Services at Compton
Moving away from serviced offices, the new space allows VaynerMedia to truly put its stamp on the workplace and build a social hub that reflects its brand and ethos. As influencers and guests are welcomed through the doors, they’re met by a gallery wall filled with photos from social events, a fun celebration of the agency’s culture.
The design is a manifestation of this vibrant culture. No two rooms are the same in this creative and collaborative environment, from the vibrant, plush boardroom, to smaller meeting spaces centred around a neon pop design. Throughout the workplace, each space has been designed to work as hard as possible; even down to the boardroom, everything is fluid.
Suprises are everywhere with even the toilets kitted out with floor to ceiling mirror metro tiles, for the perfect selfie space. Disco balls and biophilia further break the corporate mould, creating a destination office that excites and rewards employees.
Speaking about the project, Ashton said: “It’s been great to lead on a truly innovative design for a business taking the creative industry by storm. VaynerMedia’s team moves fast and they need a workplace that matches the brand’s momentum. Our design builds that part of the company’s identity directly into the space.”
“With sustainability a high priority, we’ve reused existing pieces and sourced sustainable vintage furniture to combine the heritage of the office location with the contemporary attitude of the brand.”
Daisy Domenghini, Managing Director of VaynerMedia EMEA, said: “This is a significant milestone in our journey and testament to our growth and evolution in EMEA. By moving to our own dedicated space, we’re not just changing locations, we’re enhancing our identity. The office has been meticulously and thoughtfully designed to provide an environment that stimulates creativity and supports our employees’ needs as we move to three days each week in the office together. I can’t wait to see the incredible things we’ll achieve in our new home.”
Kate Thrumble, Head of People & Experience (PET) for EMEA & LATAM at VaynerMedia, added: “Our people are the heart of everything we do and we are committed to creating the right environment for them. That’s why it features a tranquil library for focused work, a well-being room, a fully equipped studio, and a functional kitchen tailored for photo and video shoots. We’re bursting with enthusiasm about the endless possibilities our new office will bring and can’t wait to take this next step together as a team.”
