Construction of an ultra-urban development of five warehouse units in Brixton, has reached completion, main contractor MCS Group has announced.
MCS Group was appointed by Bloom Developments to deliver the 35,417 sq ft of Grade A, purpose-built, industrial space at 146-156 Brixton Hill and 5/6 Waterworks Road. It is the second development to complete in central London for Bloom’s ultra-urban joint venture with TPG Angelo Gordon.
The scheme has achieved BREEAM Excellent, EPC A+ status for all units, which range in size from 3,910 sq ft to 11,112 sq ft and can be combined to offer up to 23,000 sq. ft. across a single unit. They have renewable energy from solar photovoltaic panels on the roofs and each unit features electric vehicle charging points. There is operational space across the ground and first floors, with 2 tonne goods lift access and self-contained yards.
