British bathroom product manufacturer VADO has secured a new distribution centre at Express Park in Bridgwater.
Currently based in Cheddar, VADO will relocate its operation to Unit 3 Express Park in May this year.
Jack Dibben, VADO Supply Chain Director, said: “Our move from Cheddar to Bridgwater transforms our bathroom products operation in the UK, bringing numerous facilities under one efficient and well-located roof.
“The investment cements our future in Somerset, with 80 staff to be based at the Express Park site. The project has been three years in planning and will offer us options to grow the business turnover sustainably, building on our longstanding contribution to the regional economy.”
Alder King represented the outgoing tenant in negotiating the assignment of the lease. VADO was represented by Avison Young.
Andrew Ridler, partner at Alder King, said: “The availability of this modern warehouse building at Express Park presented VADO with a unique opportunity to consolidate and expand its operation which they were quick to secure.”
Unit 3 Express Park provides 64,989 sq ft of warehouse and office space within a secure fenced and gated site.
Express Park is an established business park on the northern side of Bridgwater close to Junction 25 of the M5.
