Commercial property specialists from regional law firm mfg Solicitors have advised on a multi-million-pound land purchase for a national digital signage company.
Led by partner Beth Margetson and associate Phil Hunt, the firm supported Allsee Technologies Ltd, a new technology, digital media and AI research company, with their acquisition of a plot at Birmingham’s Longbridge West development, working closely with agent Bill Houle of Trigram Properties.
The team supported Allsee Technologies on the negotiation and agreement of the transaction documents with sellers St Modwen Developments, providing specialist advice and solutions to see the deal through to completion.
The move to the new 2.3-acre site and 80,000 sq ft headquarters, estimated to be valued at around £12m when it reaches practical completion, will create 150 new research and programming jobs. The new headquarters are due to open in 2025.
Phil Hunt said: “The Longbridge West development in south Birmingham is attracting a variety of large businesses and is vital to the ongoing regeneration plans in that part of the city.
“Allsee Technologies see it as a perfect geographical location for both its headquarters and its new research and development facility as the business expands.
“We are delighted to help get this complex deal across the line and our relationship with both Trigram Properties and St Modwen ensured a smooth transaction.”
Dr Baoli Zhao, Managing Director at Allsee Technologies Limited, added: “The support from Beth, Phil and the team at mfg Solicitors was first-class from start to finish and helped us secure the strategically important land for our headquarters, which when built, will be the central point of our business for many years ahead.”
Allsee’s new neighbours will include Tesla, which has recently taken space from St Modwen at the nearby Cofton Centre, which forms part of the Longbridge site.
Allsee Technologies Ltd was founded in 2007 and develops the hardware and software for commercial LCD and LED outdoor and indoor commercial display screens. Their products are used by retailer settings, restaurants, hotels, schools, and hospitals.
