Leading flex office provider Cubo has opened its first ever workspace in the North West, with the official launch of Cubo in Manchester.
Cubo has opened the doors to a new 30,000 sq. ft workspace at The Lincoln, on Lincoln Square, Brazennose Street, which was the first transaction to complete at M&G Real Estate’s flagship office building.
Cubo at The Lincoln offers Grade A flexible office space to a range of occupiers including start-ups, SMEs, and corporates.
Just under 800 desks are arranged across two floors and offices are available in a variety of sizes and configurations. Hot desking and designated desks are also available.
All members benefit from 24/7 access, use of large communal spaces, private areas, break-out spaces, meeting rooms and kitchens, an inclusive barista service with beer and fizz on tap, along with a programme of free networking events – all designed to enhance the lifestyle-led offering at Cubo.
As well as the regular Cubo member benefits, The Lincoln will offer a range of convenient onsite amenities including wellness room, spin studio, and yoga studio. It will also provide 120 cycle spaces and 164 lockers, along with shower facilities equipped with a drying room.
The Lincoln occupies a prominent location in the Central Business District, surrounded by a vibrant and eclectic mix of bars, restaurants, retail, and hotels. It has direct access to the city’s public transport links and parking facilities.
Cubo was founded in 2020 by property investors Marc and Becky Brough and is rapidly establishing itself as the UK’s leading provider of high-end flex office and co-working space with locations across the UK in cities including Leeds, Birmingham, Derby, Nottingham, Sheffield, and Edinburgh.
Earlier this year, ambitious plans were announced to almost double its footprint nationally by the end of 2023 – a growth strategy backed by investment firm Literacy Capital.
A second site in Nottingham has just been launched, alongside additional workspaces in Birmingham. Cubo in Newcastle is set to open on 1 November.
Cubo is transforming the traditional serviced office model. It provides an experience-led lifestyle offer to meet the changing needs of businesses. As a result, it is rapidly becoming the location of choice for SMEs, tech companies and corporates looking for a world class environment where they can develop and thrive.
Commenting on the launch of Cubo in Manchester, Marc Brough, CEO at Cubo, said:
“Expanding our footprint across the UK has been an exciting journey, and we’re thrilled that Cubo at The Lincoln is now open and welcoming members.
“Manchester has long been on our radar. The Lincoln offers a high-end, contemporary look in a prime location with proximity to the city centre and excellent transport links. It also provides our staff with a space that puts their health and wellbeing first.
“This new workspace continues our rapid expansion and reinforces our commitment to opening in the very best locations across the UK’s core cities.”
Paddy Kennedy from Colliers, who advised Cubo in the deal added:
“I am delighted to bring Cubo to Manchester at The Lincoln. Cubo is a thriving flexible workspace operator that delivers a fitout well suited for modern ways of working and occupier demands, and its occupants will benefit from state-of-the-art amenities, including a gym, bike racks, and showers.”
