The new 65,000 sq ft Equus development at Sandown Industrial Park in Esher, Surrey is fully let following a deal concluded by property consultancy Vail Williams.
Advanced Logistics for Aerospace (ALA) acquired the final 9,716 sq ft (893 sq m) unit in the newly built terrace at a market leading rent of £14 per sq ft.
Vail Williams acted for freeholders, Hampshire-based Miscombe Developments in letting the ground floor unit, with first floor offices, to ALA, an Italian distributor and provider of advanced logistics and innovative supply chain services and solutions to the aerospace industry.
The modern unit includes minimum 5m clear eaves height, 10% high spec comfort cooled offices, electric vehicle charging points and has category A EPC rating
The other three units in the terrace were previously let – two, totalling 31,563 sq ft 2,932 sq m to golf specialist Parsons Extreme Golf (PXG Europe) as a distribution centre.
The other, at 24,643 sq ft (2,289 sq m) was let to Jump In Trampoline Parks, which operates a network of trampolining, soft play and clip & climb centres across England and Scotland.
Charlie Perkins, Vali Williams Surrey Surveyor based in Woking, said: “Equus, named in honour of nearby Sandown Park Racecourse, is a newly constructed key employment site close to the M25.
“We had strong demand for these purpose-built units, not only because of the superb design and build quality, but also due to a significant lack of supply of industrial/warehouse units in the surrounding area.”
A spokesman for Miscombe Developments said: “We are indebted to Vail Williams for securing this last letting to ensure Equus is full occupied.
“We anticipated good interest, hence the initial on-spec build, and we are particularly pleased to attract such diverse tenants to this exciting new development.”
Joint agents for Equus were JLL.
Sandown Industrial Park is strategically located close to Esher town centre and mainline railway station and within striking distance of London and the wider south east motorway network, with easy access to the A3 and the M25 at Junction 9 and 10.
