Refurbished Aberdare industrial estate attracts new occupier

Acting on behalf of Templar Properties, property consultants Alder King in Cardiff have let Unit 2 at Aberaman Industrial Estate in Aberdare to an independent pet retailer.

The business has taken the 4,470 sq ft (415 sq m) end of terrace unit on a new five year lease at a rental of £15,000 per annum. The unit includes first floor offices and vehicle access via a roller shutter door.

The estate comprises 10 industrial units in two terraces and was recently refurbished by the landlord.

Keri Harding-Jones of Alder King says the landlord’s improvements to the Estate were instrumental in attracting new occupiers.

“The Estate serves a wide variety of national, regional and local businesses requiring good quality accommodation with easy access on to the Heads of the Valleys Road and the A470.”

Alder King is marketing three other units on the Estate ranging from 2,964 sq ft (275.4 sq m) to 9,100 sq ft (845.4 sq m). Yard areas could also be provided, subject to planning and the landlord’s consent.

The Estate also offers the potential to develop new units offering accommodation from 2,000 sq ft (185 sq m) to 10,000 sq ft (929 sq m), subject to planning.
