BNP Paribas Real Estate has recruited a retail agency & investment team from Drivers Jonas Deloitte as its UK growth gathers pace.
Simon Williams, Patrick Heaps, Chris Mulcock, Jemima Unterhalter and Rosemary Baker all join this month with further growth planned.
Simon Williams is appointed head of retail investment and was previously head of retail investment at DJD. Simon has worked with BNPPRE CEO John Slade previously, including purchasing together substantial assets for clients in Germany. He has advised over £6bn of capital market transactions in the last 10 years.
Patrick joins as head of retail, reporting to Ian Parish, head of BNPPRE’s lettings and sales business. Patrick was previously head of retail agency at DJD where he was also responsible for client development. Prior to DJD, Patrick, in common with all the team, worked for DTZ / Donaldsons.
Chris Mulcock joins as senior retail investment director, having previously been investment director at DJD, and prior to that, Gerald Eve. Jemima Unterhalter joins as associate director in retail investment. The team’s administrator Rosemary Baker also joins.

These appointments follow BNPPRE’s recent recruitment of Andrew Shepherd as senior director and Simon Hill as associate director of retail agency from Capital Retail, Richard Garside as senior director of city investment and his team from GVA, Hugh White as senior investment director from LSH, James Keys as senior investment director from Capita Symonds, Nick Rock as head of West End office agency from Brewster Leech and several other senior directors.
