For the fifth consecutive year, Lambert Smith Hampton’s (LSH’s) South Coast team has taken home the ‘Most Active National Agents in Hampshire and Dorset’ accolade from leading property trade publication, Estates Gazette.
The national publication’s annual ‘Deals Done’ competition recognises the number of office, industrial and retail property deals done in the region over the last 12 months by the South Coast team. The award was presented to members of the LSH team at a lunch reception held at the Royal Southampton Yacht Club.
Jerry Vigus, Director within the Agency team, commented: “During the last 12 months we have completed over 180 transactions, spanning office, industrial and retail properties. This equates to more than 3.8 million sq ft of commercial space in the region. This is a major coup for the team, particularly in a recovering market.”
LSH’s South Coast agency team has led a number of high profile deals in the last year, including the £3.8m purchase of Avalon, a 110,000 sq ft warehouse in Eastleigh, for Oceanic Estates, the investment sale of Solent Gate in Fareham on behalf of AXA, and the letting of two units totaling 95,000 sq ft at Trilogy, Segensworth, for SEGRO.
Graham Holland, Head of LSH’s South Coast team, added: “To retain our share of the market is a positive reflection on the entire team. We are in an equally strong position as we approach the end of Q3, with significant projects that include the Fusion office scheme in Whiteley as well as agency consultancy to Morgan Sindall Investments Ltd on the regeneration of Southampton’s waterfront. Furthermore, we are appointed by SEGRO on all of its South Coast commercial property assets. These appointments put us at the forefront of the regional market and, coupled with increasing levels of occupier enquiries, we are encouraged by improved commercial confidence as the UK continues its economic recovery.”
