Expanding property consultancy Vail Williams has bolstered its agency and planning departments in Surrey with three new hires.
Surveyor Charlie Perkins, Graduate Surveyor George O’Connor and Planner Henry Bourne have been appointed in the Woking office.
Experienced Charlie Perkins has joined the busy agency team after three and a half years working in commercial property with Altus Group.
He specialises in advising clients on the acquisition and disposal of property and providing leasehold and freehold advice for occupier and landlord clients – drawing on his in-depth knowledge of the industrial, logistics, manufacturing and office sectors.
Charlie is also experienced in the leasing and letting of commercial property, landlord and tenant advice, business rates and valuation.
George O’Connor has also joined the agency team, having graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a degree in real estate.
He supports the wider team in the renting, letting, acquisition and disposal of commercial property.
George provides multi-disciplinary commercial agency services across the Surrey region and will be progressing with his APC (assessment of professional competence) qualifications with the support of Vail Williams over the next two years.
Henry Bourne has joined as a Planner from London-based consultants Collective Planning where he was responsible for carrying out site appraisals, discharging of conditions, variation of conditions and monitoring planning applications.
He is responsible for supporting Vail Williams’ developer, investor and landowner clients throughout the planning process.
His expertise includes monitoring planning applications, discharging of conditions, variation of conditions, site appraisals, briefing notes, monitoring local plans, conducting research and providing key summaries on a wide range of planning projects from small scale development through to extensive heritage, mixed-use and regeneration schemes.
Vail Williams’ Surrey Regional Managing Partner Geoff Fallon said: “We are pleased to welcome new faces to our hard-working team as our sustained business upturn continues right across our many disciplines.
“All three have settled well into being appreciated colleagues and have significant roles to play in ensuring clients go on receiving our celebrated second-to-none service in line with our strategic growth.
“These are exciting times in commercial property in Surrey as occupiers, landlords and developers consider changed priorities over hybrid working, work space use, property and land supply issues and energy efficiency as we emerge from the pandemic.”
