Land and property firm Rainier Developments has made two new appointments at its headquarters in Warwickshire.
Will Blacker has joined the company as Land Director, having previously worked for CBRE, one of the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firms, where he led the residential land department covering the Midlands, specialising in acquisitions and disposals.
Faye Fryer has joined Rainier as Executive Assistant to the Chairman and Chief Executive, after spending 15 years in a similar role at Birmingham-based KPMG.
Rainier Developments was established in 2014 by Eric Grove, one of the most successful property entrepreneurs in the country, and currently has 40 sites in its portfolio.
Chief Executive Richard Mees said: “Both Will and Faye are really strong additions to our team in terms of their background and experience.
“To be able to attract them from high profile firms such as CBRE and KPMG is testament to how much we’ve grown and the hard work that we’ve put in to establish ourselves in the land and property development sector in less than 10 years.”
Will Blacker said: “Rainier is a well-funded company with a first-rate reputation, and an obvious choice for the next stage of my career.
“The sector is currently facing a considerable challenge with a real appetite from housebuilders but a limited supply of land, so key to my role is to identify those opportunities and to bring sites forward for development to meet that demand.”
Faye Fryer said: “I was wowed by the passion shown by the team at Rainier. It’s an exciting time to take on a new challenge at such a young, well respected, and dynamic company in land and property development, which is a business area that I’ve been keen to get involved in.”
