64 Queens Road, the former home of one of Bristol’s best-known estate agents, Lalonde Brothers and Parham has been sold by WT & S Lalonde Estate settlement to clients of DJ Foley.
Lalonde Brothers & Parham operated from the premises until the late 1980’s and more recently has been occupied by up-market boutique, White Stuff.
Williams Gunter Hardwick negotiated the sale of the building for the freeholders.
Andrew Hardwick commented that the sale illustrates the enduring appeal of Queens Road Clifton for investors because of its strength as a retail, and increasingly a residential location.
The purchasers intend to refurbish the upper floors of the Grade II Listed building to create six self contained flats. White Stuff will continue to trade from the ground floor retail unit whilst Lizard Lounge Ltd have taken a new lease on the basement.
David Foley of DJ Foley Ltd added; “ We are very pleased to acquire this prominent prime Clifton property which fits well with our growing Bristol portfolio. This substantial investment reflects our confidence in the future of this area”
