St. Modwen has announced the appointment of Polly Troughton as Managing Director for its fast-growing £600m plus St. Modwen Logistics business. With one of the UK’s largest logistics development pipelines at c. 19m sq ft, the appointment comes as St. Modwen Logistics plans to deliver a further c. 1.5m sq ft of new urban and big box logistics units in 2021, 25% more space than 2020.
In her new role, Polly will be responsible for the strategic leadership, continued growth and performance of St. Modwen Logistics, which manages the full property lifecycle, including development, delivery, customer acquisition and retention.
Polly joins with extensive experience from across the real estate sector. Most recently she was Group Investment Director at student accommodation provider, Unite Group, where she also sat on the Executive Committee. Prior to that, Polly was Head of Portfolio at Landsec, where she spent eight years working across its retail portfolio.
