NPS Care has signed a 24-month lease on suites three and five at Parkview House, Brighouse – a former silk mill which is owned and managed by commercial lettings specialist and landlord, Towngate PLC.
NPS Care provides diabetic eye screening on behalf of the NHS – covering Calderdale, Greater Huddersfield, Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven. Specialist equipment is used to capture highly detailed images of the retina which is then assessed for signs of diabetic retinopathy. If left undiagnosed and untreated it can cause blindness.
Forming part of the Woodvale Office Park, the property – which was built in the 1800s – underwent a dramatic refurbishment in 2018. Work involved upgrades to the bathrooms, landings, and stairwells — including full redecoration, new lighting and carpeting throughout — alongside restoration and exposure of original stonework, and a revamp to the exterior.
Towngate property manager, Tom Lamb concluded: “We are thrilled to welcome NPS Care to the characterful and historic Parkview House. We’re sure the group will settle in and thrive in this vibrant multi-occupied office space — benefitting from the picturesque surroundings and nearby amenities.”
John Fox, programme manager at NPS Care added: “I was incredibly happy with our move and new offices. It has been challenging to settle into a new property during the pandemic but the Towngate team has been very welcoming and helpful before, during, and after the relocation.”
The firm’s new base at the Woodvale Office Park is in a prime area overlooking parklands, close to the M62 motorway, and within walking distance of a gym, swimming pool, tennis courts, large supermarkets, and high street shops.
The letting leaves just two modern and fully refurbished self-contained suites — one 2,040 sq ft ground floor and one 4,500 sq ft first floor space — available at the property.
