Sadaqat Hussain, Apprentice Surveyor at Cushman & Wakefield Birmingham has been recognised in the EMpower 100 Ethnic Minority Future Leaders list.
The EMpower Ethnic Minority Role Model Lists showcase individuals who are breaking down barriers at work and working hard to smash the ceiling for ethnic minorities in multiple sectors and industries across the UK, Ireland, Europe, the United States and Canada.
The EMpower 100 Ethnic Minority Future Leaders list celebrates inspirational people of colour who are not senior in their organisations but are making a significant contribution to ethnic minority people at work.
“Our EMpower Future Leaders List showcases the amazing ethnic minority talent working at all levels of business,” said Suki Sandhu, founder and CEO of diversity and inclusion membership organisation INvolve, which compiled the list. “These inspirational individuals are encouraging those inside and outside of their organisations to stand up and work together to increase opportunities for people of colour.”
George Roberts, Head of UK & Ireland at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “The importance of equal rights for all is firmly, and rightly, in the spotlight across the world and Cushman & Wakefield is committed to building a truly diverse and inclusive culture where everyone can be their full selves. We are proud to support Sadaqat both as an Apprentice and as a diversity advocate and we are delighted that he has been recognised for his significant contribution to promoting diversity.”
Sadaqat Hussain, Apprentice Surveyor at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “I am thrilled to feature in the EMpower 100 Ethnic Minority Future Leaders list and amongst other fantastic individuals, including clients, who are changing our workplaces for the better. All the individuals listed were nominated by peers and employees. Nominations were then reviewed by EMpower’s judging panel, which included head of Yahoo Finance UK Lianna Brinded.
