Property agents Siddall Jones have let a new build office development in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham before completion.
Novus Project Management agreed terms on 2,492 sq ft at the Crown Works in Northwood Street during lockdown and completed in three weeks.
Ed Siddall-Jones, managing director of Siddall Jones said: “While the office market is no doubt changing as a result of the Covid pandemic, we are still seeing a number of requirements for offices under 5,000 sq ft as companies use this downtime to assess their space requirements and look to offer more flexible working arrangements.
“The letting before completion of the Crown Works to Novus Project Management has seen them increase their footprint which is a positive and a further sign of confidence in the construction industry and Birmingham as a whole.”
The Crown Works has been constructed by Crownworks JQ Ltd and, as well as the self-contained office building taken by Novus Project Management, also comprises a luxury development of seven townhouses and three apartments.
Novus Property Management specialises in the residential arena, leisure and entertainment sector with projects under its belt that include various large city centre developments, successful delivery of the Commonwealth Games 2022 bid, as well as the LG Arena and Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham.
The company is moving from its former offices at 2 Snowhill, Snowhill Queensway, Birmingham.
