Workman LLP, the UK’s largest independent commercial property management and building consultancy firm, has been appointed by Hong Kong based Chinese Estates Holdings to manage 120 Fleet Street, London.
As part of the mandate, Workman will provide property management services for over 450,000 square feet of offices and retail space arranged over 12 floors.
120 Fleet Street is a Grade II listed building originally designed in 1932 by Ellis and Clark to serve as the home of the Daily Express newspaper and was most recently occupied by Goldman Sachs for the past 20 years. The building is one of the most prominent examples of art-deco / Streamline Moderne architecture in London.
David Soar, Partner at Workman commented: “We are looking forward to working with Chinese Estates Holdings on such an iconic building. So too, the appointment coming at a challenging time for the industry, when our team were still adjusting to the new normal of working from home is a testament to our team’s exceptional capabilities and further validates our reputation as stand out advisors and property managers.”
