Hillview Real Estate, asset managers of 200 Aztec West, a set of four office buildings on Park Avenue at the entrance to Aztec West, near Bristol has announced two new property deals.
250 Aztec West has been let in its entirety to national law firm Davies and Partners Solicitors which has taken 9,500 sq ft of newly refurbished office space on a ten-year lease. Already an existing occupier on the park, Davies and Partners Solicitors will relocate into the new space by the end of the year.
Ewan Kilgour of Davies and Partners said: “250 Aztec West provides an exciting opportunity for us to relocate into a newly refurbished open plan space that will provide an entirely new working environment for our colleagues. The building will also provide state of the art space for our clients.”
Hannah Waterhouse, director at JLL who advised on the acquisition, added: “Davies and Partners was well established in their current premises which made their relocation brief particularly challenging. Their move to 250 Aztec West enables them to remain on the business park and the space will be really transformative for their business.”
In a second letting, Huawei has taken 4,250 sq ft on a five-year lease on the first floor of 290 Aztec West.
David Biggs, asset manager at Hillview, commented: “Securing two major organisations to our property is fantastic and really underlines the quality of the space, the occupiers’ commitment to the future of offices and the popularity of Aztec West.”
The 200 Aztec West development is part of Hillview Partners Property Fund, a portfolio of regional offices, and is jointly marketed by property agents JLL and Hartnell Taylor Cook. Two years ago, the office scheme was granted listed status by Historic England for its bold, quirky style that became synonymous with the 1980s.
Aztec West is one of the most prestigious business parks in the south west of England located seven miles away from Bristol and adjacent to Junction 16 of the M5 and within one mile of the M4/M5 interchange. The park offers unrivalled amenities to business occupiers including a convenience store, three coffee shops, a hairdresser and a gym together with both a 3- and 4-star hotel.
