Following BD’s recent move into its new offices at Winnersh Triangle, the business park’s manager PATRIZIA UK has announced more than 190,000 sq ft of lettings through a series of lease re-gears and new deals.
CenturyLink, the third largest telecommunications company in the US and a Fortune 500 name, has extended its commitment to Winnersh Triangle. A long-standing occupier at the business park, CenturyLink has taken a new 20-year lease on its 105,325 sq ft Tier 3 Data Centre at Block B and a 15-year lease renewal for 24,347 sq ft at 230 Wharfedale Road. These office and technology buildings are home to circa 350 employees. Cushman & Wakefield’s specialist Data Centre team represented PATRIZIA to secure the agreements and CBRE represented CenturyLink.
Keysight Technologies UK Ltd (formerly Agilent), another major player in the British technology sector, is to renew its presence at the business park. The market leader in test and measurement for the telecommunications and wireless industries has taken a five-year extension on its existing lease at 610 Wharfedale Road. Keysight’s 27,633 sq ft building at Winnersh Triangle is home to around 120 staff working across several teams, including the organisation’s UK field team, the UK’s customer service and support centre and the UK test and measurement call centre. A tenant at the park since 2012, Valspar has taken a ten-year lease for 16,200 sq ft of premium, Grade A office space on the ground floor of 220 Wharfedale Road. Valspar’s relocation from its previous premises at 675 Eskdale Road and 110 Wharfedale Road has doubled its footprint at the park, in a move that brings its European business and training centre under one roof.
Qualifying its pole position at Winnersh Triangle is automotive brake expert Akebono, an official partner of the McLaren Mercedes F1 team since 2007. Akebono Advanced Engineering (UK) Ltd has taken a five-year lease extension on its existing 16,139 sq ft of science and technology space at 415 Eskdale Road. The R&D division of Akebono Corporation has been based at the business park for ten years.

Facilities solutions company Fisco has recently renewed its lease for 2,113 sq ft across the first floor of 115 Wharfedale Road under a flexible five-year term designed to support its continued growth and success.
Finally, Home Group – one of the UK’s largest providers of high quality housing and supported housing services and products – is moving into Winnersh Triangle’s ‘100 series’. Home Group’s relocation from nearby Reading Road, Winnersh gives 1,682 sq ft Grade A office space across the ground floor of 135 Eskdale Road under a five-year lease.
