Smyths Toys is the latest tenant to sign up to Warrington’s JunctionNINE Retail Park.
Taking the 14,500 sq ft unit which was previously home to Halfords, the toy retailer is expected to open in the autumn and has signed a 10-year lease with park owners The Derwent Group.
The arrival of Smyths Toys brings the park tenant line-up to 19, which includes Nando’s, Dunelm, Dreams, Hobbycraft, Mothercare, TUI, Home Bargains, Currys/PC World, KFC and Starbucks.
James Maule-Finch, senior asset manager for The Derwent Group said: “This is the second letting with Smyths Toys across the group’s portfolio, and we’re delighted to welcome them to JunctionNINE. Our retailers enjoy a very prominent position on one of the longest retail park frontages in the UK and Smyths is a fantastic brand to add to that line-up.”
JunctionNINE Retail Park totals 188,000 sq ft of retail space and 963 car parking spaces, with an additional 50,000 sq ft under development as part of The Derwent Group’s expansion of the park.
